Look at what I did, Mommy ...

So ... the girls [Kailee, Rena, & Alliyah] kept asking if they could make a pool for their Barbies! Kids and water in the house is never a good idea, but I reluctantly agreed. Within minutes of them making a pool it was not sounding good. I was hearing the water go on and off, on and off and other scary noises. I was afraid to ask, but then I started to smell the smell that is every mom's worst nightmare ... nail polish! I was smelling nail polish in the family room and they were in the bathroom behind a closed door, that can't be good. I called Kailee out and asked her who was using nail polish ... she said, uh - no one exactly. She accidentally dropped a brand new bottle of blue nail polish and it broke every where! Yikes! The girls were frantically trying to clean it up before I saw it [which probably made it worse]! The girls ended up with nail polish all over their legs! lOl! Really what else can ya do besides laugh?! When I walked in, it looked like there was a mini flood because the floor was soaked!

This is after they had 'cleaned up'! There was more on the floor too!

Finally got it all off the tile which was what I most worried about! There is a bit still on the door, and of course we're out of nail polish remover! Hopefully nail polish remover will do the trick though!

Ring around the potty

Damon has started to use the big potty instead of his potty chair, so he has recently become very fascinated with flushing! I'm sure you can guess where this is headed!

Today he took a brand new roll of toilet paper and stuck a little bit of the paper in the water and flushed it ... but, since the piece was still attached to the roll it unraveled the toilet paper [nearly the whole roll] while flushing! The toilet got plugged and there was lovely toilet water spilling out all over the floor! What else can you do besides laugh and take a couple of pictures?!

Damon and razors don't mix

Note to self: make sure any and all sharp objects that my cause harm to little girls hair, including but not limited to razors, are out of reach from Damon!

Last night the kids were in the bath. They were playing and having a good time while I was right outside the door in the hallway. They were being kinda noisy, so I shut the door most of the way because Justin was asleep! I went in to start washing them and there was a crazy amount of Alliyah's hair everywhere! I asked Alliyah what it was and I some how thought that Damon had pulled it all out! I couldn't understand why she would let him do that to her, but then she picked up my razor and said he did it with this! OMG! I said, he shaved your head?! Luckily, the damage isn't that bad. The razor isn't that sharp, so it mostly "cut" her hair instead of shaving it. There is a little patch of hair that is now about an inch long. And judging by the amount of hair that was in the tub he must have randomly "cut" other pieces, but you can't tell! Yikes! I guess it could have been worse ... like the time Kailee let her friend cut her hair! Kailee ended up having to get a mushroom cut, but if anyone could pull that do off it was Kailee!
