Christmas Eve was pretty traditional this year, but with a couple of twist. We usually go to my MIL’s house and the kids open presents from her and then we go out to dinner with my parents. This year my MIL came to our house and instead of going out to dinner we ordered in Chinese food, yum! The kids were pretty eager to go to be [can you blame them], but before bed we had to leave a snack and write a note for the big guy. The kids all pitched in and told me what to write. Damon was hilarious because he wanted me to tell Santa hi from him, Justin, Allie, Kailee, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Micki [aka Vicki], Grammie, Poppie … the list goes on and on and on … for so long my pen ran out of ink! lOl!!
We decided to have a slumber party in Mommy & Daddy’s room. We made them all bed’s on our floor [except for Justin he was feeling a lil under the weather and we thought he would sleep better in his own bed]. The kids got all cozy and went to sleep pretty fast considering they were built up with so much excitement. Before Damon fell asleep he kept trying to peak out of our window! He said, he was looking for Santa in the sky! The kids were all excited for Christmas, but Damon was beside himself! I loved it!
I think I have a few pictures from Christmas Eve [or do I]??!! I have to find them! I didn't take very many on Christmas, but I have some from that morning! We'll see what I can find!
