The last year Kailee will be able to walk Tay to school [sad]!  Taylor will be in HS next year, so it's a little too far for walking!

Halloween Parade

Allie & Dae had a Halloween parade @ school. This year was a lot less chaotic now that they go to the same school! I tried to have Justin dress up to go to their school too, but he wasn't having it [wish us luck tonight or he'll be trick or treating as himself]!

Thursday night I received a phone call from Alliyah's teacher. I was confused because Allie is always so good, I couldn't imagine why her teacher would be calling! It was a good phone call though, her teacher was calling to invite us to the school assembly where Alliyah would be receiving an award. She was awarded with the "Overall Character Counts Award"! The award is for being responsible, caring, fair, respectful, being a good citizen, and for being trustworthy! The award was a surprise for her too!

Ray, Justin, & I headed to the assembly the next morning [Dae-Dae was in class]. We were [are] so proud of her! Of course she wasn't fond of standing in front of the school, but she made it through!

School Projects

The kiddos come home with so many cute projects that I don't have the heart to toss out. I have been collecting all the goodies and putting them in safe keeping, but things start to get crunched and lose some of their cuteness. So, I started thinking I would put together albums for the munchkins with all of their crafty projects.

I finally got around to taking some pictures of their projects!

Comparable to student of the month. The whole school gets together for an assembly and they individually recognize the kids. Poor Allie wanted to crawl under a rock when they announced her name for her award ... she's not a in the spot light kinda girl!

It's that time of year

Some how the summer has just slipped right by ... & it's already that time of year again! We have a big 2nd grader & kindergartner on our hands!

Damon's Christmas Performance

Damon had his second Christmas program performace of his preschool career! Last year he wasn't so sure ... he ended up in the front of the class next to the teacher helping to guide the kids on what to do next [wish I had that on video]! This year he was SO excited to be on stage. He kept waiving to us and had an ear to ear grin the entire time on stage. We were some very proud parents!








P.S. On our way to Damon's school, Ray and I were trying to figure out which one of us would take him to his class, so that the other could go grab our seats. We decided to ask him who he wanted to take him to class, Mommy or Daddy? His response was, "my Kai-we"! A lil ego bruiser, lOl! We thought it was waay too cute! Daddy & "his Kai-we" took him to class.
