The last year Kailee will be able to walk Tay to school [sad]!  Taylor will be in HS next year, so it's a little too far for walking!

SUPER proud ...

Thursday night I received a phone call from Alliyah's teacher. I was confused because Allie is always so good, I couldn't imagine why her teacher would be calling! It was a good phone call though, her teacher was calling to invite us to the school assembly where Alliyah would be receiving an award. She was awarded with the "Overall Character Counts Award"! The award is for being responsible, caring, fair, respectful, being a good citizen, and for being trustworthy! The award was a surprise for her too!

Ray, Justin, & I headed to the assembly the next morning [Dae-Dae was in class]. We were [are] so proud of her! Of course she wasn't fond of standing in front of the school, but she made it through!

Alliyah turns 7

Happy Birthday to our littlest princess! It's the usual ... OH.EM.GEE-can't-believe-she's-7-already! Really though, amazing! She is such an awesome lil girl, we just love her to pieces! We are so proud of her!

She received an award at school on her birthday ... pretty cool if you ask us, but she was mortified. lOl! She is our shy & quiet would much prefer not to be the center of attention, so when her class went to an assembly and they called her up in the front of the school to get an award she was less then thrilled. Poor baby!

We attended Damon's friend's birthday party @ Classic Gymnastics earlier this year. Alliyah LOVED the place & decided she just had to have her party there. Like, seriously?! ... You mean Mommy doesn't have to do a thing? There are going to people to set up & clean up ... hells to the yes! Haha! Anyways, this was a super easy party and the kids had a blast!

P.S. It was a Littlest Pet Shop themed party ... hence the animal ears!

There was about 20 kids that came out to help Alliyah celebrate her birthday! She even had a couple of her friends come from school [how grown up]! It was a great day!

Poor Allie

Leave it to Allie [our graceful child] to sprain her elbow [didn't realize that was even possible]! She fell outside Tuesday evening, poor thing! We didn't realize she was that hurt! In fact, she didn't really complain about it much until after she had already been asleep for the night. She woke up out of a sound sleep crying in pain. We gave her some medicine to help with the pain. I ended making her an appointment the next morning [soonest we could go since nothing is open late]! Her doctor doesn't think it's broken, but she is sending the x-ray's to a specialist to confirm. So no news is good news. She is back at school today and feeling better!

A Final Hurrah

The girlies had another slumber party this past weekend ... a final hurrah before Miss Kailee left! Good times, great memories!

Pre-slumber party ... it looked like the Boys & Girls Club @ our house. We had all the kids in the neighborhood over [love it]!
